Every Day

Every Day - David Levithan

What the book comes down to is a story about "first love".
Sure it's a really complicated story because the main character jumps in a different body every day, but (In my opinion) really it's about how we feel about our first loves.

By time I closed the book I felt a little heart broken.
" I want love to conquer all. But love can't conquer anything. It can't do anything on it's own.
It relies on us to do the conquering on its behalf."

"Kindness connects to who you are, while niceness connects to how you want to be seen."

"If you stare at the center of the universe, there is a coldness there. A blankness. Ultimately, the universe doesn't care about us. Time doesn't care about us.
That's why we have to care about each other."

*Something cool that I always like is when a book is mentioned, or an artist, or a song and then I have to go check it out... there were several books mentioned in this:
Feed, The Book Thief, Destroy All Cars, First Day on Earth. (Harold and the Purple Crayon & The Giving Tree were also mentioned)

I also love that the song playing on the radio when they first met was Running up that Hill
