The Sky Is Everywhere

The Sky is Everywhere - Jandy Nelson

I obviously was in the bathroom while they were giving out the kool-aid for this book. 'Cause I just didn't fall in love with it.
I felt a connection with Lennie, because I have a sister who I shared a room with, and on scary stormy nights even a bed. (I was always the one who had to run across the room to her bed.) So I felt horrible for her loss & for Toby's loss. These two character's had the most depth. I had a hard time with Joe's character, for me he was just a book character. Flat. I know he was suppose to be this amazing guy, but I just didn't feel it.
The best part of the book were the notes Lennie left all over the place. You could see the grief she carried and how much she wanted to let it go.
