John Moray Vs Harry Selfridge

Au Bonheur des Dames - Emile Zola Shopping, Seduction & Mr. Selfridge - Lindy Woodhead

I confess I just Binge watched The Paradise & Mr. Selfridge.

The stories were alike in the way that they bother were about the first English department stores, but one was elegant and low key, the other was LOUD & gossipy. (I'm not sure that's a word)

I liked both. But if I had to chose between Mr. Moray

or Mr. Selfridge...

I'd pick Moray!

There's just something dark and mysterious about him that makes me want to know more.

These shows have made me think about all the books that I've read and loved. A lot of Mary Balogh & Thomas Hardy.

Are there any books you'd recommend or other BBC productions that you enjoyed?

(My all time favorite is North & South)
